Last Holidays, nghệ thuật từ cộng đồng Phát triển kinh tế - du lịch trong thời đại hội nhập một mặt đem lai những thay đổi tích cực cho cộng đồng (tăng thu nhập, giải quyết việc làm, giảm nghèo…), mặt khác sự phát triển này cũng đưa đến những hệ lụy mà gần đây dư luận đang bức xúc lên tiếng. Một trong những hệ lụy đó là sự phá vỡ môi sinh, môi trường xanh và thu hẹp không gian công cộng. Last holidays là một dự án nghệ thuật cộng đồng nhằm gợi lại những ký ức, những kỷ niệm một thời của đồi Thiên An, hồ Thuỷ Tiên, một thắng cảnh đẹp nổi tiếng ở Huế. Đã từng có nhiều thế hệ gia đình, nhiều lớp sinh viên học sinh, đoàn hội lên đây cắm trại, dã ngoại, hẹn hò. Sau khi trở thành một trung tâm dịch vụ vui chơi giải trí, bộ mặt của Hồ Thuỷ Tiên đã có nhiều thay đổi. Chúng tôi dự định thu thập và triển lãm trên 5000 bức ảnh chụp được thực hiện từ trước thời điểm tháng 4/2004, khi trung tâm vui chơi đồi Thiên An-hồ Thuỷ Tiên đi vào hoạt động. Các bức ảnh chụp lại các gia đình, bạn bè và các đoàn hội đã từng lên chơi, dã ngoại cắm trại tại không gian này. Dự án sẽ khởi động với việc triển khai thu thập ảnh chụp từ người dân ở Huế, thông qua báo chí, các Poster quảng cáo ở những trường học và nơi công cộng, qua các tình nguyện viên cộng tác với dự án. Chúng tôi mong muốn thu thập được càng nhiều, càng đa dạng các loại ảnh chụp từ nhiều thời điểm khác nhău trong quá khứ càng tốt. Dự án sẽ tổ chức một cuộc triển lãm vào trung tuần tháng 5 năm 2009 tại Huế, việc thu thập ảnh sẽ diễn ra đến ngay trong cuộc triển lãm với lời mời mọi người tham gia viết những cảm tưởng của mình, ghi lại những cảm xúc về một thời xưa cũ, những kỷ niệm của họ qua các Postcard được dự án phát hành. Triển lãm thứ hai tại Hà Nội sẽ diễn ra vào trung tuần tháng 6 năm 2009 với các hoạt động giới thiệu về dự án và số lượng ảnh chụp, các phản hồi đã được thu thập từ triển lãm tại Huế, chúng tôi cũng sẽ phát hành Catalog trong sự kiện này. One of the consequences (disadvantages) is destroying human ecology, green environment and narrowing public spaces. Last holidays is a community art project reminding memories, (souvernirs) of Thien An hill, Thuy Tien lake – a famous beautiful landscape in Hue. There were many family generations, students, associations coming there for camping, picnic, dating. After becoming a entertainment (leisure) servives center, the face of Thuy Tien lake has had many changes. We intend to collect and exhibit over 5000 photographs taken before the time of April, 2004 when Thien An hill-Thuy Tien lake entertainment center went into operation. These taken photographs of many families, friends and groups (associations) who went to this place for visiting or camping . The project starts with collecting photographs from Hue people, through press, advertising posters at schools and public places; from volunteers collaborating with the project. We hope to collect as much as possible multiform photographs of various moment in the past. The project will organize an exhibition in the middle of May, 2009 in Hue. Collecting photographs will be lasted until the exhibition with the invitation of writing people’ feelings, emotions of the past and the memory on postcards released by the project. The second exhibition will be taken place in the middle of June, 2009 in Hanoi with many introduction activities of the project and the amount of photographs , the feedbacks collected from the first exhibition in Hue, we will publish catalogue in this event .
